The right way to benefit from fall power.

Because the calendar turns to September, a brand new wind appears to blow in.  And doesn’t scent like seashore and coconut iced drinks.  It smells extra just like the exhaust of college buses and calendars shortly filling up.  So we absorb a fortifying fall breath, roll up our sleeves and get to work.  Faculty paperwork and filling up the calendar flows proper into beginning early Christmas checklists.  

It’s so tempting to take the excessive power of summer time and push it proper into the work that must be carried out in fall.  However the issue with this, is that fall isn’t a season of yang.  Fall is a season of yin. 

      

The refreshing motivation that autumn brings isn’t meant to be utilized to our Christmas lists.  It’s meant to encourage us into curiosity and newness. 

   

The return of the autumn routine isn’t there to include and self-discipline us.  It’s there to consolation us, offering a extra steady and constant power.  (Countering the ups and downs of summer time.)  

 

The cooler climate sweeps away the hazy-daze of summer time and brings us readability of thought.  However what are we going to do with that readability?  Let’s use that energy for good!  Let’s use it to obviously see the current second.  Let’s go on night walks and spot how good our garments really feel once they aren’t drenched in sweat.  Let’s cease wanting again on the holidays different folks bought to do that summer time and clearly see – and be grateful for – the straightforward happiness that apples and pumpkins and campfires carry us. 

    

Let’s take full benefit of the yin of fall.
